Absolutely stunning ! I too have had some great weekends reading century old books on Mizoram ~ they also talked of natural history ~ Parry and Lorrain.

Wonderful suggestion. I shall look forward to finding some of the work of Parry and Lorrain on the net. I am glad that I could introduce you to a very fine nature writer. A friend of mine Lt Col Chris Rego was recently in Mizoram and wrote a coffee table book and a cook-book. I wonder if you know him.
